Pops on the River

As an integral part of the Artown month-long festival, Pops on the River is an eclectic concoction made up of themes, decorations, costumes, awards and prizes, food, wine, laughter and music all nestled alongside the River in downtown Reno’s Wingfield Park. Pops is the premier event for entertaining clients and constituents, as well as family, friends, colleagues and – of course – yourself!Tables decorations and costumes are strongly encouraged. In fact, there are awards given for the following categories:

• Most Historic
• Most Outrageous
• Most Elegant
• Best Drinkable Concoction
• Best of Reno
• Best of Show

Food and Drink

Food is not sold at the event so please be sure to bring a picnic-style dinner or have your table catered by one of the following Pops Preferred Caterers:

PLEASE NOTE: There is absolutely no cooking or catering allowed in the park. Food is to be brought in prepared and if you have a caterer bringing food to the park for your table, they can only drop it off and are not permitted to set up a serving or prep station.

Wine will be sold in the park by Luva Bella and guests are also encouraged to bring wine and other drinkable concoctions. Glass is permitted at the Pops event.

Clean-Up

Please be courteous of Wingfield Park and be sure to clean up after your table. Pops provides table-side trash bags as well as waste receptacles and recycle containers throughout the park.
