SEASON 57
Announcing the Reno Phil’s 2025-2026 season of Classix!
As we embark on another chapter of musical discovery, I am thrilled to share the theme of our 2025-26 season: Great Pursuits. This season celebrates the extraordinary things worth pursuing—beauty, freedom, passion, knowledge, happiness, excellence, and connection—and how music inspires us to reach for those ideals.
At the heart of this season is a new commission celebrating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Created by a visionary composer, it invites us to reflect on the ideals of liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It will be a stirring addition to the season, showing music’s power to tell stories that resonate across generations.
Through all the incredible works on the season, we’ll explore what it means to pursue greatness—whether through creativity, resilience, or the joy of coming together to share the magic of music.
I hope you will join us for a season of unforgettable performances as we celebrate these Great Pursuits. Whether you’ve been with us for years or are new to the Reno Phil family, your presence enriches everything we do.
Here’s to a season filled with inspiration, joy, and a shared journey toward all that is truly great in life.
