AUDITION OPPORTUNITIES

The Reno Phil is currently seeking musicians to join the orchestra for upcoming auditions. Under the leadership of Music Director Laura Jackson, the Reno Phil presents a wide range of performances serving Northern Nevada and Eastern California, including the Classix Series, pops concerts, family concerts, and Young People’s Concerts. The Reno Phil also supports four Youth Orchestras and delivers music education programs to thousands of students throughout the region.

Auditions are currently being held for the following positions:

• Second Bassoon – Audition: May 13, 2026
• Section Violin, Viola & Cello – Audition: May 17, 2026

The Reno Phil is a per-service orchestra operating under a Collective Bargaining Agreement. Additional details about service guarantees, audition materials, and application requirements are available in the audition announcements below.
