IRA contributions can be a thoughtful way to plan your charitable giving and provide a simple method to support the Reno Phil while meeting your financial and tax goals.

If you are 72 or older, the charitable IRA distribution allows you to make tax free gifts of up to $100,000 per year from a Traditional IRA or Roth IRA (other retirement plans do not apply) directly to the Reno Phil.

IRA Gift Rules and Requirements

• You must be 72 years or older

• Funds must be transferred directly from your account to the Reno Phil

• Individuals may contribute up to $100,000 per year

• No good or services may be received for the donation

• You cannot claim an income tax deduction for the gift

How to Make a Gift from Your IRA

1. Consult your financial advisor
   Talk with your financial advisor about making a direct distribution to the Reno Philharmonic Association.

2. Direct your advisor to send the check to:

Your gift of appreciated stock to the Reno Phil supports live symphonic music in your community and the continuing music education of future generations.
