SEASON 58
Announcing the Reno Phil’s 2026-2027 season of Classix!
In a world that rarely slows down, music invites us to pause, listen, and gather. That spirit shapes our 2026–27 Classix Series—an open invitation to make space for wonder, reflection, and the shared power of live symphonic music.
At the heart of the season is our Music & Space Festival, sponsored by the George W. Gillemot Foundation and Bean Space Foundation, where imagination and sound collide. We’ll journey across the cosmos with Holst’s The Planets, experience the emotional intensity of The Music of Star Wars, and explore music that expands our sense of possibility and perspective.
We are thrilled to welcome back acclaimed artists Jon Nakamatsu and Ray Ushikubo, whose extraordinary artistry continues to inspire and deepen the connection between stage and audience. Their performances promise moments of brilliance, intimacy, and breathtaking virtuosity.
Throughout the Classix Series, each concert is thoughtfully curated to showcase masterworks that have shaped orchestral history alongside pieces that challenge and inspire us today. These performances are designed to create space—for discovery, for reflection, and for the joy of experiencing great music together.
Whether you are a longtime subscriber or joining us for the first time, we invite you to take your seat, settle in, and let the music carry you. Together, let’s make space for what matters most.
