This star-spangled celebration is once again led by fan-favorite Conductor Jason Altieri, and will include a mix of patriotic marches; pop favorites from Wicked, Harry Potter™ and composer John Williams; an Armed Forces Salute; and much more — concluding with a spectacular fireworks display (weather permitting). All ages welcome! Enjoy family friendly activities before the show on the concourse, including face painting, magicians, and a food-eating contest.
Gates open at 6:00pm for a 6:30pm a pre-show featuring Reno’s own Eric Henry Andersen & Friends. Eric will also feature on several numbers on the main program with the orchestra, which begins at 8:00pm. In addition to Eric and his band, local vocalist Cliff Porter and artists from Reno’s Biggest Little Circus organization will feature on the main program, making this year’s event the biggest and best yet.
Tickets start at just $15, or family packs available for $50 for four tickets. Kick off your July 4th weekend right with the Reno Phil at the ballpark.

Featured Opening Act: Eric Henry Andersen & Friends
Eric Henry Andersen’s signature emotive tenor voice and award-winning songwriting has captured the hearts of audiences for over a decade. His live performances invite fans on a musical journey, leaving them just a bit more inspired and connected than before. As a solo artist and co-lead singer-songwriter of pop/rock group, The Novelists, Andersen has toured all over the nation sharing festival bills and performing with artists such as Train, Five For Fighting, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Allen Stone, Glenn Phillips (Toad the Wet Sprocket) and Daryl Stuermer (Genesis/Phil Collins Band).
Conductor Jason Altieri
Jason Altieri is the current Associate Conductor for the Reno Philharmonic and Music Director of the Atlanta Pops Orchestra in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to his work in Reno and Atlanta, he spent time on the road as Music Director of the New Sigmund Romberg Orchestra and the Hollywood Film Orchestra. Having led The New Sigmund Romberg Orchestra on 7 national tours, Jason has the distinction of having conducted in every state but three, and in most of the major performing venues in the United States.
